Meet David Goodwin

My journey commenced when my family relocated from Juneau, Alaska, to Lake Tahoe when I was merely a year old. Following my high school graduation, I seized an opportunity to apprentice under a distinguished chef in Connecticut. This experience was profoundly enriching, yet the allure of the West Coast beckoned me back. Opting not to return immediately to Tahoe, I pursued a career at the Pacific Stock Exchange in San Francisco. However, the magnetic pull of the mountains eventually led me back to Tahoe. Eighteen years ago, I settled in the Carson Valley, captivated by the mountainous vistas and the richness of the surrounding areas.

My professional path then led me to a fulfilling role as a Coach with Rite of Passage, an innovative juvenile detention program designed to introduce urban youth to life in more pastoral settings. After six years of impactful work there, I transitioned into the retail outdoor recreation sector, eventually becoming the owner of the Sporting Rage in Carson City.

Subsequent to my tenure at the Sporting Rage, I embarked on a new career direction by studying for and successfully obtaining my real estate license. I immediately joined REMAX REALTY AFFILIATES in Gardnerville, where over twelve years, I had the privilege of learning from some of the most skilled and experienced agents in the Valley. Recently, I transitioned to eXp Realty in Minden, aiming to offer enhanced service and expertise in real estate within the Carson Valley.
