Gardnerville Ranchos

The Gardnerville Ranchos is the largest community within Carson Valley. The population is currently around 11,000 and there are over 4000 residential units. It’s family orientated with an elementary school (Scarcelli) and an intermediate school (Pau Wa Lu). The Carson River runs through parts of the Ranchos and the 18 hole Carson Valley Golf Course is a favorite of locals. Ranchos Aspen Park is a 17 acre park within the Ranchos with 4 baseball fields, a soccer field, 2 playgournds, covered picnic tables and fun for the entire family. Also located near the intersection of Tillman and Kimmerliing Road is a small commerical center. Pizza delivery, a bowling alley, post office, Seven-Eleven convenience store and several small eateries such as Jethos cater to the community.
Access to all the facilities of both Minden and Gardnerville is easy and close. Grocery shopping, local bars and restaurants, hospitals and urgent care facilities and the downtown core of both Minden and Gardnerville are within 10 minutes. The backdrop of this area is the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains as well as the Pinenuts. Take a quick trip up to Lake Tahoe via Kingsbury Grade and spend a day at the Lake. It’s all easily accessible from the Ranchos.
